The Way The Government Works!

Here is how the government works.  The Department of Energy was established in 1977.  Anyone remember the purpose?

The purpose was to lessen our dependence on foreign poil.  Today, 32 years later,  the Department of Energy has  16,000   employees and a budget of 24 Billion per year, and we import 60% of our oil.   In addition, the Obama administration will not allow any offshore drilling and coal fired energy  plants are in real danger of being taxed out of business or passing on huge energy costs to their customers.  I say we end the Department of Energy, along with the Department of Education.
