I am as confused as a termite in a yo-yo. President Obama told us that we needed to pass the stimulus bill immediately to create 600,000 jobs in his first year in office. Remember, it was so important that no one had time to read the bill before it was passed. He now says that his stimulus plan is a 2 year plan and is working just as it was designed. He must really think we are stupid. We have lost 2 million jobs in his first 5 months in office. He said if the stimulus was passed the unemployment rate would not go above 8%. Unemployment is now 9.5% and forecast to go to double digits soon. Now he wants to implement government healthcare. Then there is the Cap and Trade fiasco that will cripple our economy, raise energy costs, and cost even more jobs. In the first 5 months as President he has transferred more money from the private sector to the government than at any time in our history. Socialism works until there is no more money to take and give to others. We are headed that way.
