Core Issues
ABORTION - We believe in the sanctity of life, that life begins at conception, that there is no Constitutional authority for the Roe vs. Wade decision and that abortion should only be performed in extraordinary circumstances in order to save the life of the mother.
ECONOMY – We believe in free market economic policies and that government should promote investment in the private sector and private control of production.

The Welfare Clause - Why don’t we listen to George Washington and James Madison and pull the Constitution out of the fire before it’s too late?
ENERGY – We believe energy policy should include domestic production of oil, natural gas and coal reserves. Other means of renewable energy should be encouraged, but not at the expense of curtailing domestic production of fossil fuels. To do so will cause higher energy expense for all Americans.
HEALTH CARE – We oppose a single payer government health care system because to do so will lead to the rationalization of health care services and health care decisions being made by government officials rather than health care professionals.
HOMOSEXUAL AGENDA – We believe that each citizen has a freedom of choice concerning their sexual orientation; however, we oppose any legislation that gives any special status to homosexuals. Marriage should be between one man and one woman.
IMMIGRATION – We believe in legal immigration and secure borders. We firmly oppose blanket amnesty.
TERM LIMITS – We believe that 6 year term limits in each chamber of Congress are adequate for the citizens we seek to serve. They MUST recognize their service as a duty, not a privilege. We expect our representatives to serve those whom they represent, not themselves or special interest groups. We believe that term limits are the most pressing issue of our time and we support a Constitutional amendment supporting these limits.
LOBBYIST REFORM – We believe that if term limits are instituted, candidates would not need huge amounts of money for campaign expenses. Lobbyist groups should be prohibited from giving anything of value to any congressman.
TAXATION – We believe that the federal tax system is severely broken. The tax code has doubled in size in the last 20 years and comprises 60,000 pages. We support HR 25 which promotes freedom, fairness and economic opportunity by repealing the income tax, abolishing the Internal Revenue Service and enacting a national sales tax to be administered primarily by the states.
SOCIALISM – We believe that America is moving closer and closer to becoming a Socialistic country like Western Europe. We already have some socialist programs such as social security, medicare and many welfare programs. In addition this administration has nationalized banks, automobile companies and insurance companies. Socialism takes many forms but the true aim is to redistribute wealth. Remember what President Obama told Joe the Plumber? Pure socialism aims to nationalize the means of production thereby eliminating competition and free markets. Socialism also is characterized by the absence of private property.
2nd AMENDMENT - We believe that the 2nd amendment is absolutely necessary to maintain the right to self defense. Congress should pass no law that restricts the right of individuals to hold and bear arms.
CHURCHES – We believe that churches should have the freedom to address and/or endorse political, social and moral issues without jeopardizing their tax-exempt status.
SCHOOLS (Prayer & Discipline) – We believe that prayer in schools should be a personal choice by each student and that discipline in schools should be allowed. We believe that if both of these programs were in place in schools across America, that children would be better students, would learn the value of an education, and would be better equipped to become contributors to society.

HATE CRIMES – We believe that there are sufficient laws in place to punish criminal offenders. Instituting hate crime legislation assumes that you can know what the offender was thinking at the time of the crime.
