While pretending that Mitt Romney is the Republican they fear most, the Obama Reelection Campaign, with the help of the mainstream media, has been doing what they can to help the Governor secure the nomination.
Within days of the start of the race for the Republican presidential nomination, the Obama White House got out the word that the Republican they feared facing the most in 2012 was Governor Mitt Romney. As the Obama campaign expected, the compliant mainstream media reported and opined at length on why Governor Romney would likely be President Obama’s most formidable opponent. The media drumbeat that Romney had the best chance of beating Obama was effective.
Exit polls from the New Hampshire primary revealed that the number one reason given for voting for a candidate was the belief that he could defeat Obama. Republican primary voters want a candidate who will get Obama out of the White House, and they will vote for whoever they think has the best chance of doing that. In New Hampshire, they were, to a significant degree, convinced by the media that Mitt Romney was that person. Read more…

For all practical purposes, the Democratic Party no longer exists. Its leadership has been taken over by the Progressives. That the Progressives themselves are in fact thinly disguised Marxists / Socialists & Communists is only now beginning to be recognized by any significant portion of the American public. Unfortunately for all of us, the Progressive movement has deep roots in the GOP establishment as well. The Progressive’s political philosophy is based on a foundation of lies, three of which are the cornerstones upon which virtually all of their other lies are built. Those three big lies are as follows:
I. Progressives claim to be the only ones who care about the have-nots, the poor, the weak and the helpless
The first big lie is that the Progressives claim to be the only ones who care about the have-nots, the poor, the weak and the helpless. In fact they don’t give a damn about the have-nots. Their one and only objective is to gain and exercise as much power as they can over others in order to satisfy their own massive egos and their own personal greed. When the effects of the Progressive’s policies of the past are viewed by any objective study, one will see that it’s their own policies that have actually turned the poor into a permanent welfare dependent underclass of citizens. Their continuing efforts to control, stifle and suppress the free market by taxing and regulating the business community to death, has severely limited any chance that the poor have for upwards mobility in order to achieve their own slice of the American dream.
One of the most pernicious ways in which they have managed to do this, is through the American educational system, which their current leaders, the former radicals of the 60’s have totally hijacked. Many of them originally became teachers simply to avoid the draft. Over the last several decades, they’ve rewritten and twisted the history of capitalism and the free market in America which is what made us the richest country in human history, and a force for good throughout the world. Their revisionist history is such a blatant pack of lies that they’ve even managed to convince the people that the democrats and the left are responsible for the Civil Rights revolution. The average American today believes that concern for civil rights is exclusively a liberal or Democratic Party virtue when in fact the first civil rights legislation and a big part of subsequent legislation was introduced by Republicans, and voted into law by Republicans over the hard fought objections of the Democratic left. For a list of specific examples. Read more…
The headlines in the Middle East are very active. Iran is a the center of them. Israel and the United States both are finally saying that they will not allow Iran to have nuclear weapons. More sanctions are on the horizon. Sanctions, quite frankly, have never worked as Iran’s nuclear program has progressed steadily for nearly a decade. But there is something different about this round–everybody is on edge. Saudi Arabia has said it will increase output of oil to offset any possible Western oil embargo against Iran. Iran has threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz where oil is shipped. The US says it will keep the Strait open. There is tremendous prophetic significance to these events.
Many Christian prophetic sites and end time watchmen are pointing to these events and predicting that the end of the world is near. They are getting ahead of themselves. There is a lot that must happen before the end time battle, known as “The Day of the LORD” prophesied in some way in Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi, Matthew, Luke, Acts, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Timothy, 2 Peter, and Revelation (and I may have missed a few). On the timeline of the end times, The Day of the LORD is at the end of the Great Tribulation, not at the beginning.

Americans have been feeling the effects of the exploding government and resulting reduction in economic freedom.
So you think you’re free? Thanks to big government spending and exploding debt, the United States — and indeed the world — is less economically free today than it was a year ago, according to the 18th annual Index of Economic Freedom, released yesterday by The Heritage Foundation and The Wall Street Journal.
Economic freedom — the ability of individuals to control the fruits of their labor and pursue their dreams — is central to prosperity around the world. Heritage and The Wall Street Journal measure economic freedom by studying its pillars: the rule of law, limited government, regulatory efficiency, and open markets. Things like property rights, freedom from corruption, government spending, free trade, labor policies, and one’s ability to invest in and create businesses all factor in to a country’s economic freedom. Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas — 2012 is finally here, and the biggest challenge to American greatness is upon us. For the last three years we have witnessed the steepest decline in the nations’ culture and identity, but the good news is that we have it within us to secure our national greatness. We will, however, have to rearrange our priorities this year in order to advance our cause. Our first and foremost priority needs to be working to return America’s true identity by making sure we do everything humanly possible to see godly men and women elected at all levels of government.
Hard work coupled with prayer will make the difference.
The Presidential election this year is more important than any other in our history as a nation. If we (conservatives) lose the Presidency, America’s greatness will forever be lost abroad and at home. That does not mean that America ceases to be, it just means that our influence in the world will be lost:
◦Our standard of living will be further diminished; we will be split by class warfare resulting in more strife and chaos.
◦Those things that have made America great – defender of the oppressed in the world, humanitarian of the world, a light and example of freedom – will also be diminished.
◦And because of our moral decay, an “all-about-me” society and lack of personal responsibility, we will have transferred our faith in God to faith and dependence on government. Read more…
A remedy for a decaying society
Many well intended people have been writing me asking what they can do to effectively change the direction of this country. They often enumerate all the work they are doing seemingly to no avail. Thank you for writing, and please, do not grow weary in what you are doing. I do believe, however, that we as Christians and as Christian Americans are needing to take stronger action. We cannot put our trust in organizations that have no strong religious and moral base. The start of anything lasting must have the Lord’s hand on it. But this is a real problem in America because people run from anything Christian or smacking of Christianity–it is a real testimony to our job as evangelists over the past 40 years (and not a good one).
There are reasons why our country is headed in the wrong direction. The pulpit has been milk toast for so long that the flock has no idea what it really means to be a Christian and to behave like one. Preachers and teachers have been making Christ what man wants him to be instead of what he is. This is a real threat to true salvation as deception is rampant. Additionally, most people are so busy living day to day life that they have no interest in or the extra energy it takes to study the Bible on their own or to actively pursue righteousness and justice in society. It could be laziness, selfishness, apathy or just being too busy, but whatever the reasoning, the outcome is what we have as a society today.
We complain about the election system–that our choices are between the lesser of two evils. We, however, shun the process of initially selecting those candidates from the actual caucusing and primary processes, neglecting that the very first step in vetting and qualifying good candidates to stand for office–”able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness (Exodus 18:21).” And who among those would even want to put themselves in the public arena? The bias and the scrutiny of the news media and of fellow American opponents twisting good things and turning them into evil is allegorically akin to having your family watch you being slaughtered by a gladiator or the lions in the ancient coliseums.
It is fast coming to the point where we Christians, as a people group, will be faced with a decision similar to that of Peter and the Apostles in Acts 5:29: “We ought to obey God rather than men.” We are fast approaching the day when we are either going to publicly, through some form of civil disobedience, have to take back our society, or submit to the realization that we have lost it. But before we do anything, we need to understand who we are in Christ, who is the real Christ (not what men have made Christ through extra-biblical, self-indulgent, self-aggrandizing, emotionalism), repent from our adultery and idolatry, and seek God’s true heart for our salvation and the direction of our nation.
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

I have stated on many occasions that our elected officials fear illegal immigrants more than they fear the American voter. These self-righteous people we have elected to serve us in Washington will do anything to maintain power and control over their constituents that voted them in office. It is time for Christians, Jews & Patriots across America to unite and show these power hungry officials that “We the People” are still in control before they completely destroy the greatest nation in the world! Are you ready?

Relaxing immigration standards in hopes of reward & vote in November
Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON, D.C. — With a dismal record of achievement and forced to accept the bitter harvest of their failed economic and foreign policies, no one should be surprised that Team Obama and the Democrats in Congress are running scared. Nor are the Democrats’ fears irrational. So how do Democrats plan to get elected?
With an historical supermajority in the House and the Senate, Team Obama and Democrats pushed their pet, progressive ideas with a vengeance, spending and borrowing. Yet despite full political power and despite the trillions of dollars thrown into the maw of the Obama/Reid/Pelosi vision of utopia, our nation is left with the nastiest of all financial hangovers as a result of queasy, Democrat-initiated, shameful indulgences.
Of course too, the bills, some $16 trillion dollars of them, are coming due as well. Read more…

Directly on the heels of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), that arguably makes US Citizens detainable by the military, comes the coup de grace in the form of a new bill called the “Enemy Expatriation Act.”
But before I get into this bill let me preface that with a few observations.
First, our nation was founded upon the principle of individual liberty and self-determination. A belief that all men were created equal and endowed by our creator with certain unalienable rights imbued within each of us at the time of our birth. We did not, and do not, derive our rights from government and therefore cannot legally have them taken from us by that government.
Second, as our Declaration of Independence states, the purpose of government is to secure the rights of its citizens, and as important, they derive their powers from the consent of the people. I ask you to think upon the following question in light of the previous statement: If the government derives its power from the people, how can the government wield power that the people do not have? If the people do not have such a power then the government, on their behalf, cannot likewise yield such power.
Third, the federal government was created by consent and compact, a Constitution. Within that Constitution the branches of government were laid out, defined, and scope assigned. Each branch of government was given certain powers to act for the betterment of the nation as representatives of a collective set of nation states that recognized the need for a single voice in foreign matters and as an arbiter between the states to ensure regular trade and commerce between the states and settle disputes. In his book “Through My Eyes,” Tim Tebow gives an account of how he wanted to switch his eye black from Philippians 4:13 to John 3:16 if his Florida Gators made it to the National Championship game in January 2009. He writes that Coach Urban Myers first response was, “You can’t. What are you thinking? Philippians 4:13 is such a great verse.” Tebow wrote that both of them knew it was a superstitious streak “bubbling up” in Coach Myers. Tebow stood his ground. Coach Myers replied, “Yeah, that’s a great one, too. Okay, that’ll be great!” Tebow wrote: “I’m told that ninety-four million people searched for John 3:16 on Google during and immediately following the National Championship Game.”
Not one network analyst picked the Denver Broncos to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in Sunday’s National Football League Wild Card game. In fact, during the week leading up to the game, there seemed to be more focus on second year Denver quarterback Tim Tebow than on any other player. Most network analysts and other sports columnists just love to mock God through Tebow. No other young quarterback is held to such scrutiny according to my personal observations. This young man has taken a stand for what is good and right in the eyes of the Lord and not even the sports media can embrace it. They can, however, mock him openly, couching their comments as critical analysis of his playing style. Read more…
