Editor’s Note: Here is a brief bio of Arleen Ocasio from an archived Houston Chronicle.
She is an Obama appointee and guess what? She is from Chicago. For the poster that wrote that she is Janet Napolitano’s sister, I don’t think that is the case but she does look like her a lot. Still checking into that rumor.
What qualified her to have this position, who knows. Bachelor of Arts degree? Don’t think so.
The court case will continue next month. But she has already lost a case concerning “religious discrimination” this year.
Hat tip to Congressman Ted Poe who is investigating Ms. Ocasio. He is outraged and it is thanks to all the good people that took the time to call their congressmen. Now, no word at all from Sheila Jackson Lee.

All I know for sure is that , Ms. Ocasio is on vacay and that her phone has a constant busy signal. Good work, America. Way to step up!

OCASIO SELECTED AS NEW DIRECTOR OF HOUSTON VA NATIONAL CEMETERY

HOUSTON — Arleen Ocasio was recently selected as director of the Houston VA National Cemetery. In her new post, she is responsible for all burial, maintenance, and administrative operations at the cemetery.
The Houston VA National Cemetery is the second largest national cemetery in the region, encompassing some 419 acres of a former dairy farm in northwest Houston.
Prior to her appointment, Ocasio was the first director of the new Jacksonville VA National Cemetery in Jacksonville, Fla. She was responsible for the initial development of the cemetery through its design phase, the cemetery dedication, consecration, and the beginning of burial operations in January 2009.
Ocasio was the director of the Puerto Rico VA National Cemetery from November 2006 and assistant director at Puerto Rico from July 2005 until her appointment as director. She has also held the position of cemetery director at Salisbury VA National Cemetery Complex in North Carolina, including oversight of Salisbury VA National Cemetery and its four satellite cemeteries in North Carolina and Virginia; at Natchez VA National Cemetery in Mississippi; and Fayetteville VA National Cemetery in Arkansas. She joined the National Cemetery Administration as a cemetery representative leader at the Puerto Rico VA National Cemetery.
For approximately 10 years before joining the National Cemetery Administration, Ocasio held various positions in the VA West Side Medical Center in Chicago, Ill., where she worked with minor contracts, maintenance contracts, and budget and was the Hispanic Employment Program assistant manager. She was also assigned to the San Juan VA Medical Center where she worked with administrative processes, purchases, and budget in the Nuclear Medicine Service.
Beginning her federal career with the Federal Aviation Administration in the Air Traffic Division in 1984, Ocasio is a native of Chicago. She graduated from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2000.

I believe you answered your own question. She is affiliated with our federal government where many of our elected officials are obsessed with abandoning our constitution, Judeo – Christian heritage and the values set forth by our founding fathers in an attempt to advance their own personal agenda.
Christians still have a majority and it is time that we take a stand!

She’s a long time federal employee who apparently never demonstrated this behavior at her previous director positions. So I am left to wonder what recent event in her life left her hating God? Did a child die, or a spouse? She is far out of VA guidelines so she will probably be moved to another position when she comes back from vacation. In the meantime I am praying for her.
Since its the biggest VA cemetery it will get the most coverage and besides absolutely being in Texas.

I see all this started back in july sometime. Is it just now making the national media?. This person is obviously Anti God, Anti American, Anti Soldier. My question is, what is she doing in this position? Has she been fired yet? It’s ironic that them men and women who are buried there fought and died for her freedom, and now she is using it to disgrace them. Typical for people of power these days.

Why do people like this want to tear it apart. The power of prayer to Christ will prevail regardless of attempts to destroy our country. So lets wake up America, and start praying to Jesus Christ for our fallen brothers and sisters who died for our country. May the Cross of Christ proudly prevail forever in our National cemeteries. I love my country. I wish those who don’t love her would just leave. Perhaps to a Socialistic county somewhere controlled by a dictator. Most/all of them don’t believe in Christ either. Nobody should be able to change that right or tell me I am wrong. I will not interfre with yours do not interfre with mine. When are we going to stop letting the minority control us. We all need to vote so the minority can not control us. Vote what you think is right, Not necessarily what is best for your own goals.
So the reward for Ocasio performing her duties exactly as Obama intended is a taxpayer paid (along with her salary and pension) relocation to Washington DC. What a waste of taxpayer money. She should have been fired. I hope Vets in DC know what’s coming their way.
