Action Statement

Thomas Jefferson said, “Experience has shown, that even under the best forms of government, those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny”!   History has shown Thomas Jefferson to be right!

The AGAPE Movement is focused on political reform and is a political action movement. We have no party affiliation and are committed to returning to power elected officials who share the same the same views and dreams of America’s founding fathers. Now is the time for Americans to exercise our ownership rights. Some of our politicians seem to have forgotten how they got in office and for whom they work! Honesty, integrity and responsibility seem to no longer be important factors in their decisions.

The AGAPE Movement encourages the establishment of independent groups in every congressional district in America that will serve as watchdogs over the elected officials in their district. We encourage AGAPE groups to thoroughly screen new entrants to the political arena  to insure that their character and sincerity is representative of our country and the values upon which it was founded. These values include, but are not limited to, protecting our Constitution, term limits, reduced spending, lower taxes, a strong military and their willingness to strictly comply with their oath of office.

Each group should evaluate candidates and elected officials, and if they do not reflect the principles and values of the Constitution, the group should recruit and support appropriate candidates that do! In addition, the AGAPE Movement will encourage the groups to have rallies, write letters to the editors and legislators, keep members informed via the internet, promote the values of the AGAPE Movement and partner with other groups that share the same values.

Strong communication, timely responses and reaching the masses are essential to the success of the AGAPE Movement.  Many mediums are available and can be used, but none moves quicker or more efficiently than the internet. The AGAPE Movement will utilize web based messages, blogging, webinars, and on line meetings to educate, train and inform members and prospective members of the AGAPE Movement.
